ACE Program names new Chair

Dr. Stuart Mitchell, BCE has been appointed Chair of the ACE Support Committee for the Entomological Society of America. The ESA Certification Board Director appoints the Chairperson. The initial term of service is 3 years.

Mr. Forrest St. Aubin, BCE-Emeritus has previously and dutifully served as the ACE Chair for several years. The ACE program owes much of its success to Mr. St. Aubin, who was recently elected to become the 2015 Director of the Certification Board. He is currently Director Elect.

The Entomological Society of America offers the ACE certification program as a professional credentialing option geared specifically toward the pest management industry. Launched in May of 2004, the ACE program is rapidly becoming the industry-standard for the minimum level of professionalism and training required in this industry.

  • ACE is for those who are permanent residents of the United States and hold a current applicator's license.
  • ACE International is for those who are not permanent residents of the United States. Dr. Zia Siddiqi, BCE currently serves as Chair of ACE International Support Committee.
