It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to 102nd Annual Meeting of the Pacific Branch of the Entomological Society of America, June 10-13, 2018 at the Atlantis Casino and Resort in Reno, Nevada. The hotel is in excellent shape with many fine restaurants onsite and should provide an outstanding venue – thanks to Joy Newton and committee for local arrangements. I sincerely hope that you are planning to attend and participate.
The Pacific Branch Entomological Society of America is now accepting submissions for the Photo Salon event at the 2025 branch meeting! We want to see your best, coolest, and most interesting photographs that showcase entomology!

Each year during the Pacific Branch Meeting, students are offered the opportunity to present their research and win prizes. There are two components to the competition: 10-Minute Presentations and Poster Displays.
When submitting presentations to the Student Competition, students become eligible to compete for prizes. Awards are given to the first, second and third place winners for each student competition session.
