Renewal Requirements

Annually, CITs must:

• Submit a photocopy of a current pesticide applicator's license.
• Sign a document stipulating adherence to the CIT Code of Ethics.
• Pay the annual fee of $50 ($42 for ESA members)
• Document a minimum of 6 CEUs earned during the prior year period. In many cases these are the same credits that you would submit to your state or regional governing body to renew your applicator's license. See table of eligible CEUs. 
• Upon 5 years of experience, CITs will be eligible to sit for the ACE exam, should they choose.
• Renewal does not require retesting.
• Renew your 2024 CIT online. 
• Renew your CIT for 2024 by mail. This form can also be filled out and emailed back to ace@entsoc.org, and instructions will be provided to pay your renewal fee online.
