Science Policy Fellows Program
The Science Policy Fellows (SPF) program is a two-year active training program to teach entomologists the skills needed to successfully advocate for the discipline. The training focuses on federal policy in Washington, D.C. Each year, five applicants are selected by a competitive application process. The fellows receive training at the annual meeting of the year in which they are selected. Then, twice a year, the fellows come to DC for a few days in the spring and fall to meet with their Congressional offices on Capitol Hill and with representatives from federal agencies and other non-governmental organizations.
