About: The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) is hosting the 2019 Vector Summit on Apr. 16–18 in Pittsburgh. The summit will increase the capacity of local mosquito and tick management professionals to detect, prevent, prepare for, and respond to vector-borne disease. Through peer exchange of best practices and practical strategies, the summit will provide a collaborative learning environment suitable for all levels. The summit is targeted toward mosquito and tick surveillance and control entities including local health departments, municipal departments, mosquito abatement districts, and tribal and local stakeholders. Academic partners, commercial agencies, and federal and state stakeholders will also be in attendance.
