About: The Americas Congress on Fruit Flies is an international event that brings together experts from all countries of the Western Hemisphere, from the American continent, in order to promote the exchange and appropriation of knowledge in prevention, eradication and control of fruit flies among members of the scientific and academic communities. It takes place in the framework of the 10th Meeting of the Tephritids Workers of Western Hemisphere, TWWH, and as a preamble in Colombia to the celebration of the International Year of Plant Health.
