  3. Presentation Type: You have the option to organize a symposium consisting entirely of oral presentations or a combination of oral and poster presentations. Please indicate below the type of symposium you would like to organize.

Presentations will be...: As the symposium organizer, you can choose to organize a symposium featuring only invited speakers or a mix of invited presentations and contributed presentations submitted through the ten-minute paper submission process that will close in May. Please indicate below the type of presentations you would like to include.

  5. Summary Statement of the Goal or Concept and Objectives: List the goals, concepts, and objectives of the proposed symposium. Explain how the topics presented in the symposium will cut across at least three ESA Sections. Please be sure to include how you plan to make your symposium interactive.
     
  6. Please share how you plan to make this symposium interactive: This can include panel discussion, roundtable discussion, poster session, etc. Submissions with an engagement component are highly recommended.
     
  7. Symposium Description (50 words or less, required)
     
  8. Please list several speakers you plan to include/invite to participate in your symposium.

Page 2 - Organizers

  1. Be sure to add the names of all contributing organizers here. Information listed on this page will be used for all notifications and when compiling the program book. 
     
  2. Before adding a new name, please search the database to see if that name has already been entered.
     
  3. If you have been a participant at an ESA Annual Meeting, your information should already be in the database.
     
  4. When searching for a name, keep in mind that it returns exact matches only unless you have selected Match "Like".
     
  5. While you are given the ability to search by First Name, Last Name, and Email Address, it is recommended that you search by one field at a time. 
     
  6. If the name you are searching for is in our database, but the contact or affiliation information is incorrect, please update the information on record and do not create a new one.
     
  7. If you need to enter a new name, please complete as many of the fields as possible.
     
  8. Only move on to the next step after all contributing organizers have been added.
