All students, early career professionals (ECPs), and interested regular members are cordially invited to join us at the Diversity & Inclusion Breakfast from 7:30-8:30am on Wednesday, March 18th in the Grand Ballroom. Breakfast will be free to the first 60 people to show up. An icebreaker asking people to engage with each other as a member of an underrepresented or dominant group will start off our discussion of power dynamics in research.

Many science and industry professionals have been told to “develop your elevator pitch.” This workshop provides the tools to prepare for brief and compelling interactions that may occur on an elevator, in the soybean field, or anywhere.
