This guided hike offers a quintessential Portland experience, weaving through the lush greenery of Forest Park along the scenic Wildwood Trail. The journey begins at the Lower MacLeay Trailhead, leading to the charming Witch’s Hut, a local favorite nestled in the woods, approximately one mile in. From there, the hike continues south with a steady 450-foot elevation gain over 2.5 miles to Pittock Mansion, where sweeping views of the Portland skyline and surrounding mountains await. The total hiking distance is about 3.5 miles and typically takes 2.5 hours, depending on group pace and stops for photos.
