Based in part on the NAS report "Communicating Science Effectively: A Research Agenda," the ESA Governing Board has approved the Science Policy Committee to draft a new Position Statement on the importance of effective science communication. The Society is seeking (a) several individuals to serve on the writing committee and (b) input from ESA members on the drafting of this statement.
