Many undergraduate and graduate students are interested in careers in education, but within entomology, education-focused career paths are often not clearly communicated to students or early career professionals. To help bridge this gap, we are hosting a webinar focused on showcasing diverse careers in entomology education with a focus on those beyond the traditional tenure-track faculty role.
This webinar will highlight a wide range of opportunities, from K–12 teaching and Extension to zoos, insect museums, edutainment, and government outreach. Our panel of professionals will share practical advice, actionable steps for career development, and candid insights into the rewards and challenges of these non-traditional paths. Whether you're a student exploring your options or an early career professional looking to expand your impact, this session will provide valuable guidance for navigating and thriving in education-focused roles within entomology.
