Public Health Entomology for All (PHEFA) Travel Grant

ESA and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Vector Borne Disease have partnered to create the Public Health Entomology for All (PHEFA) Initiative.

As part of the initiative, ESA is supporting faculty and students from Minority Serving Institutions to attend the Annual Meeting. ESA will provide registration, transportation, hotels, and a stipend for meals so faculty and three of their students can attend the 2024 Annual Meeting outside of Phoenix, AZ, November 10-13. There will be a reception hosted specifically for PHEFA Travel Grant Recipients.

APPLY TO THE PHEFA TRAVEL GRANT

ESA will select up to six co-horts comprised of a faculty member and three students through a weighted lottery. The lottery will be weighted in favor of faculty members who have not attended an ESA Annual Meeting in the past.
