This award aims to enhance the diversity of PBT section membership by supporting the travel of graduate students from under-represented groups who are presenting a talk or poster on research related to insect physiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and/or toxicology at the ESA 2024 Annual Meeting (view more information on PBT).

The PBT branch recognizes and appreciates the benefits that diversity provides in educational and research environments (see more details).

Applications will be reviewed by the PBT Section. Two winners will be selected and awarded up to $1000 each to cover the costs of transportation, lodging and meals, and registration for attending the 2024 ESA  Annual Meeting in Phoenix. A member of the PBT Section will be your mentor during the meeting to facilitate networking and navigating the annual meeting.
